Hayze

Hayze played for us in Ipswich at The Drum and Monkey on 29th June 2008

And then there was Isolysis, and they were truly something else!! Tattooed, pierced, loud and proud, ROCK at its rawest and best!! They shook the glass in the windows with their energy and enthusiasm :)! Having travelled all the way down from Nottingham, they gave us their very best, and headed back, as some of the band had to go to work that evening :( ! But we sent them on their way with many thank yous and loads of hugs for all....Rockers give great hugs by the way!!!

Helen Dennis

Helen Dennis played for us in Ilfracombe at The Marlboro Club on 16th August 2008

I actually don't know where to begin with this wonderful solo artist! From beginning to end she was every single inch perfectly professional, delivering wonderful guitar skills, a clear, steady and beautiful voice that gave us an amazing version of the Oasis hit "Don't look back in anger" as well as the self penned "Break my fall", the evidence of someone who I for one am certain we are going to be hearing a whole lot more from!! As a wonderful gesture, Helen also gave us some CD's to sell, and offered us half the proceeds, so thank you very much Helen!!

High Compression

High Compression played for us in Ipswich at The Drum and Monkey on 29th June 2008

Filled with compassion, they had everyone hooked after the first few chords. A very young band on their first away from base gig, they took the stage and held us captive. The female bassist quickly overcame her initial nerves as the drummer played so manically he kept losing his sticks. The vocalist bounced around the stage, belting out his tunes, whilst never missing a beat.
