As we gallop towards the end of another year...which has flown past at a scary speed...time to look back and see if we managed to hit our targets!

The Charity registration is still a work in progress...and we still believe that all the hours we have spent....and will probably continue to spend...working on it are worth every moment! The opportunities is will present us far outweigh the amount of work involved...and we are so looking forward to being able to work with other child protection agencies in a professional way that will allow the best possible mutual advancement of our work.

And of course registration will also allow us to work on our idea of going out into the community to hold information evenings...technology is advancing so fast...and with it the potential threat to children and young people....so there is always something new to be learned...and we welcome the chances to learn from all available sources...because everything WE learn we pass on to YOU...and the more we ALL know...the better position we are all in to protect the children!

We updated our information brochures...and produced new brochures for our information and education platform Stop! Online Exploitation of Teenagers and Children J...both of which we are working on making downloadable from this site...because we know from talking to people at our gigs and through our internet pages that the need for this information is there...and it seems we are not doing a bad job of putting it together in a way that is easy to understand and follow up on...but of course we will make sure that we keep all our information as up to date as we possibly can...as always!!

We fell a little short of our gig target for this year...not through want of trying I hasten to add, but sometimes circumstances just conspire against us all don’t they???...however, the two gigs we organised were both great! Birmingham and Mansfield were this year’s areas...and as always the bands that came out to play for us were amazing!!! Our raffles have been a great success...and we plan to continue to hold them at future events! We have received some amazing prize donations from local people and businesses J...and hope that future events will get the same kind of support!

All in all, we feel that 2009 has been a good year for us! Our supporters are rising in number on a daily basis...we now have a Twitter profile to go with the existing My Space and Face Book profiles...and we have also established our very own You Tube Channel! The feedback we have received from you all concerning the videos we are posting has been really positive...and we are currently working on producing our very first live action promotion film J...so watch this space!

Thank you all for being behind us...we hope you will continue to support our work and aims...because together...we WILL make a difference for the children of today and tomorrow!
